Over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go! This year for Thanksgiving we took a road trip to the beautiful Mesa, Arizona to see our grandparents. We left right after work on Friday and drove to Page where we spent the night to break up the trip a little. In the morning, we decided to go and see a few of the amazing sites around. We had planned on visiting the Grand Canyon however, thinking about my 4 wild children standing near the edge of that massive cliff caused me to have some pretty grand anxiety. With this thought in mind, we opted to see some of the "less" dangerous canyons. The kids wanted to go look at some of Lake Powell so we headed to the Lake Powell area so we could see the bridge and the horseshoe.

Here are the girls walking down to horseshoe. It was really sandy and Mady was throwing a fit about all the sand that was getting in her shoes. Makayla felt bad for her and carried her for as long as she could. What a nice sister!

Here is horseshoe bend. It was quite an amazing site to see.

Here is Jordan climbing all over the cliff wall.

Makayla and Brayden on the ledge.

Here they all are overlooking horseshoe.

Cute girls. :)

This is the kids standing on the edge of that cliff wall.

And THIS is me walking back to the car because I couldn't stand watching the kids climbing around that cliff!!! It was making me soooo crazy! This made me very glad that we decided against the Grand Canyon. ;)
