The Family Getaway!!!

I spent the past week in Bear Lake with my parents and grandparents working on the lot up at Bear Lake. I was mesmerized by all of the tractors and machines that quickly turned a mountain full of trees, shrubs and rocks into a fantastic getaway!


Here it is as they are tearing into the hillside. They have already got all the trees and stuff scraped off at this point.

Here is the trench and pipes for the electrical, water and sewer.


The back of the lot ended up being a HUGE drop-off from the hillside after they dug it out. Luckily, there were a bunch of big rocks that we found buried on the lot.

Here is our trailer on the finished lot looking from my parents lot. We still need to get more rocks for the back but its looking pretty sweet!!!

Most importantly, here is the picture of the awesome rock wall I built! ;) Also, the railroad ties that border the property line. We will put trees and shrubs in the middle to finish it off. I cant wait for all of the family reunions and trips we will take together. Most of all, I look forward to all of the memories we will make. :)
