Life is a Highway!

Do you ever find yourself getting involved in so much stuff you wonder how you are possibly going to balance it all? Well that seems to be the story of my life lately! There are so many incredible activities that my kids can be involved in that I just can't seem to say no! Here are the things that keep us all busy these days.

Jordan is on 2 basketball teams this year. One is a competition team and one is just a recreation team. He has games & practices twice a week.

Brayden is playing both soccer & basketball which means 2 games a week for him as well.

Makayla is on the mini competition dance team this year so she has dance two nights a week.

Madyson is on the tiny tot competition dance team and is also singing with "Harmony Kids" once a week.

As for me, I am still working part time as office manager for The Jazz Studio. I volunteer twice a week at the school. I am head roommother for Mady's class. I am the activity day leader for the 8-9 year old girls in our ward. My new adventure is selling Kyani. It is a nutritional once a day drink that is super good for you. I have been blown away by all of the things this has helped people with and I think it's going to be a great business opportunity for us.

Matt is still a slave to BARD. He just got a promotion and we are happy for that. He is still the 11 year old scout leader as well as the assistant director of the family history center. He just had a birthday and is now a PSP addict!

Although we are super busy...I can't think of anything I would rather do!!!! Life is pretty great for us. Our kids are healthy, happy and wonderful. It is always so much fun to watch these kids turn into little people.

Matt's Birthday Party!

Matt celebrated his birthday on October 3rd. The Saturday before, I decided to throw him a surprise party! I can't believe it, but i actually pulled it off!!!

We had a few bumps along the way but we managed to surprise him up until he arrived at the house! Rich had to force him to the movies because the original plans of golf were called off due to the snow we received. We had a great time. Lots of friends showed up. He got his pimp cup and grillz for his teeth which for some bizarre reason he felt he needed to have!

Lots of people dressed up in their gear to make the party a hit. Rich was the winner HANDS DOWN! He disappeared for awhile and then came out of the bathroom all decked out in his gangsta gear! It was hilarious! He had all the gear from the low rise pants with graffiti on them right down to the mp3 playing back pack. Our neighbor Troy, had his bling jewelry with his handcuffs. It was such a great time.

After an event like this I can't help but look around at all of the great people that we are lucky enough to call friends. We are so blessed to have so many incredible people in our lives.
