4th of July Fun!!!

After the wedding on Friday we went to the NSL fireworks at the golf course and then came back to our house to make smores.

Matt, Chuck and Matthew roasting some "shmallows!"

Shawna & Braydo

Smores are yummy!!!

Evan chilling by the fire

The kids doing some sparklers

Evan looks so serious

For the 4th we went over to our neighborhood BBQ/Pool Party. We had so much fun!!!

Mady and Jack Jack hangin in the pool.

Matt doing a dive into a tiny inflatable ring. In case you are wondering...YES he did make it all the way through. It was crazy! Ahhhh my funny husband.

Matt and Maddy doing the gangster face pose.

Our poor neighbor Todd getting attacked by all the kids.

Ryan throwing Jordan.

Here is Mady diving backward off the diving board...she's so brave. ;)

Todd getting ready to toss Braydo over his shoulder! What a good sport he is.

Sunday Matt's family came over for a BBQ. Here is little Matt feeding the cats some ham.

Evan had wet clothes on when he came over so we threw them in the dryer. He went straight up to Makayla's room to get the "detar". When he came down it looked like he was totally naked. He cracks me up!!! It was a very busy weekend but we sure had a great time. It's nice to have such wonderful friends and family to spend holidays with!!! :)

Can I have this dance???

This weekend Matt's nephew Brandon got married. At the reception they had music playing and a few people were dancing. A slow song came on and sweet Brayden was nice enough to take his sister out for a dance. They weren't sure how to do it so Mady just hopped up on his feet and let him carry her around the dance floor. I cant think of a sweeter sight. I am sure this is one of those moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I couldn't be more proud of him.

Stop and smell the flowers

The daisies in the front corner of our yard look like they are on steroids. They are as tall as Mady. Here she is in front of them. They are gorgeous!

Here is Mady on our back steps. With all the rain all of our plants are looking great! The ivy is even starting to take over the steps.

I love the amazing sunsets we see from our deck. If only they were as bright and colorful in pictures as they were in person!

I had to take a picture of my tomato plants. I am so excited to have a garden this year that is actually taking off. If a few more weeks we will be eating them. YUMMY!!!

Our apple tree has some apples on it this year. My kids have been stalking this tree and I have a feeling I will never beat them to any of these apples! Sometimes you just have to stop and be thankful for little things like sunsets, flowers and a garden. :) I am blessed.

Thank you!
