This year for my Birthday and Valentines Day, Matt took me on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Rich and Andrea were able to come along with us. Though the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped, we still had the best time all week long.

Here we are just after getting on the boat. We actually took this picture with Matt's phone because we wanted to send Rich & Andrea a text since they were still waiting in the LONG line to get on. We actually felt bad that they couldn't jump in with us. :( We were so sad in fact, that we passed the time stuffing our faces full of yummy food and ice cream. Sorry guys.

This is our "Blue Steel" look. Yeah, I know, we are weird.

Here we are at dinner on formal night. Every once in a while, its kind of fun to get all dressed up and eat dinner with my honey!

Matt and I posing on these cool heart chairs on formal night.

YAY! :)

This is my birthday kiss...Like it or not!

Here is my wonderful birthday hat and cake!!! I don't think there is a better place to spend your birthday then floating around on a big boat in the middle of the ocean!

This is our cute waiters singing Happy Birthday to me.

I decided to go on an elephant ride in our room!

Me, Andrea and Jimmy Buffet...I mean Rich in the karaoke lounge.
Puerto Vallarta. I have been here several times and it never gets old. I love that there is such a jungle feel about it, but yet you can go down town and experience amazing shopping, dining and art. It is such a great place to cruise to.

Here is the map of the adventure Matt and Rich took during the day in
Puerto Vallarta. They took a boat to the mountain, then got in a truck to a place where they had to ride a mule the rest of the way to the trail.

This is the army truck that the guys had to take to get to their adventure.

Here is Matt on his tour boat. Ride em' cowboy!

This is the pirate ship in
Puerto Vallarta. I am pretty sure that they do a party cruise on this very boat. It makes me wonder how drunk would I have to be to believe that boat is safe? I will never know. ;)

This is me trying to smile though I was scared to death! Behind me is an army truck full of men with
oozies. Not carrying them on their backs or anything...we are talking guns drawn and men jumping out of the truck looking like they are about to head into Iraq or something. After this picture I swiftly ran in the opposite direction.
Ahhh...gotta love Mexico.

Never trust a girl in a hat...isn't that what they say? But what if its a hat this size? I don't think it counts.

This is a beautiful church that sits up on the hill just above the down town center. We tried to get a picture last time we were here but it didn't turn out. Here is our success!

Andrea and I decided to hang out with these monkeys for a bit.
Ummm...yeah I have NO idea.

I am not sure what this statue is, but we saw that triangle face all over the place. Kinda creepy if you ask me. I could not resist the urge to stick my finger in her mouth.

Hay and the statue...we are good friends. :)

Matt and I took a minute to meditate with these zen-like creatures.

Here is the statue of "Moises"...we had a good laugh at this one.

We were on the cruise the week of Valentines day. Here is a sculpture on the beach of a heart & rose for Valentines.

Welcome to
Vallarta sand sculpture with candles all around. It is so detailed and amazing.
Puerto Vallarta is amazing at night. The street is lined with clubs and shops that during the day, seem so simple...but at night they look SO amazing and cool.

I think this is club Zoo in
Puerto Vallarta.

Matt and I at dinner in the formal dining room.

Me with the ever-so-delicious Warm Chocolate Melting Cake.....I am pretty sure this little guy was the reason for the extra baggage I carried in my rear post cruise. But he was
SOOO worth it!

One thing I remember about Mazatlan as a kid was going to Sea Shell City. It is two floors of every sea shell you could ever imagine. I remember just being amazed as a child. This is my first time going back as an adult and I have to admit, I was still amazed and loved every minute of it.

Me and Mr. Creepy
chillin' at Sea Shell City!

Don't I look amazing in this Viking hat? ....yeah I didn't think so either! ;)

I was surprised to find that they had moved Senior Frogs right next door to the El Cid resort. Since these are the two places I usually take people on the "Haley tour of Mazatlan" it was super convenient!!! I am sure they had me in mind when they did this. HA HA (For those of you familiar...its where the old disco used to be.)

Me and Senior
Froggy partying like rock stars!

Where else can you go and dance on the tables doing YMCA????

Here is me and my "yard" of (virgin) strawberry-
colada. It was super yummy...and YES, I did drink the whole thing in no time!

Here is me and Senior shot man. This is the guy who walks around blowing the obnoxious whistle and slamming jello shots & tequila shots into people's mouths. Basically, he is the man in charge of keeping the party going.

This is me and Mr. Frog outside of Senior Frogs. We both have our yards. I was actually going to pretend to be drunk and passed out but the ground made me think twice.

El Cid Resort...this is the tunnel under the swimming pool waterfall & slide.

The famous Cabo Arches. SOOOO pretty!

Here we are on our way out of Cabo.

The cute little treats that we got delivered to our room one night!

This is the moment I had waited for all week. The grand-daddy of desserts. Grand marnier souffle. Oh goodness this is the BEST dessert on the Earth, I swear. I dream about it at night. I am still searching for a place on land that I can get this yummy treat.

Our last night in the dining room. :( Sad, sad night.

This was our wait staff each night. We had such a great time with them and enjoyed all of the yummy food they brought us!!!

Dear Carnival Splendor....we had a wonderful time with you on our cruise. We will miss you very much. I hope to see you again! :)
